Alita Aldridge and Carollee Williams-Schuegraf have been selected to be our Featured Quilters for 2025. These two quilters are masters of their craft, producing beautiful and meaningful quilts. Below are brief biographies to introduce Alita and Carollee. They will both be in the display area during our show to visit with you and answer any questions you may have of them or their work.
Alita Aldridge
Alita is a native Angelino and comes from a crafty family. She learned to sew from her mother, a very accomplished dressmaker, who started Alita making doll clothes and her own clothes at an early age. Alita took a break from sewing during her high school years and several decades of working and raising her daughters. After viewing some beautiful art quilts, a little over 10 years ago, she was inspired to make one and hence began her quilting journey. Please come visit our show and see her full story and her spectacular quilts!
