New from Robert Kaufman

Looking for a new project or need to add to your stash? Robert Kaufman Fabrics has a couple of new fabric collections that we will see in our local stores very soon.

Dr Seuss.jpgThe Cat in the Hat (a la Dr Seuss) is set to ship this month. The collection is created in primary colors plus black and white. Wouldn't these be great for a Read Me a Quilt project?

Mon Sheri Waves.jpgThe Mon Sheri collection ships to stores in October. Julie of Jaybird Quilts has a free pattern and video available on the Robert Kaufman site for her Mon Sheri Waves quilt. Julie uses a unique arrangement of Drunkard's Path blocks, easily assembled with the Curve Master sewing machine foot, and the resulting quilt does look like layers of waves. The Mon Sheri collection is fashioned with very trendy prints, in shades of rose, clay, and olive, with lots of white overlays.

Hopefully we'll see these in our local shop very soon! Happy Quilting!
