It's a Wrap Bowls

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
Our own Carol Thomas is teaching a class at Luella's in a few weeks on wrapping cotton clothesline to make bowls, baskets, and purses. I found another picture online:

bali bowls.jpgusing Bali fabrics in blue/green/purple to create some beautiful baskets. And an online store that carries a number of books and patterns using wrapped clothesline.

I hope all the attendees have a great time in Carol's class, and please bring your finished items for Show 'n Tell!

An SBQG member, Eva, would like to briefly review a copy of "Fractured Landscape Quilts" by Katie Pasquini Masopust at tomorrow night's SBQG general meeting. If you have a copy of this book and can bring it to the meeting for a quick look, please contact Eva, or reply to this post, or contact Sherilyn (SouthBayQuiltersGuild@gmail.com) and I will put you in touch with Eva. Also, if you have any thoughts to share on the book, we're all ears, er, eyes!
